
RespectFest is a virtual and in-person festival aimed at promoting respect in dating relationships and to raise community awareness about the prevalence of teen dating violence.The in-person festival on April 6 will include activities to learn about about dating violence, consent, how to help a friend, what the warning signs are and what the resources are in the community. There will also be performances, free food, yoga and self defense demos, raffle prizes and a resource fair with other community organizations. RespectFest is for young people ages 12-18, parents and anyone working with youth.
MCDOT Pedestrian Safety will join the in-person event to share walking, biking, and driving safety tips with RespectFest attendees.
